What is a podcast?
A podcast is essentially an internet broadcast, usually produced by an individual. It can be either audio or video, and is delivered via an RSS feed. The word ‘podcast’ comes from combining ‘iPod’ and ‘broadcast’. Here at 2 Guys Hurling, we offer a video podcast designed to be viewed on your computer, or on your video iPod.
Do I need an iPod to watch 2 Guys Hurling?
No. Even without an iPod, you can subscribe to our feed and have new episodes automatically delivered to your computer. Also, we post each new episode on the this site for regular internet viewing.
How do I subscribe to the feed?
To subscribe and have new episodes delivered automatically you need an aggregator, also known as a podcast client. iTunes (even if you don’t have an iPod), is a great program for both Mac and PC. If you’d like to try something else, there are various other options for both platforms out there. A quick search at Version Tracker should produce lots of results.
