So… now what?
Now that season 1 is complete, and you’ve all seen the results of our hurling experiment, what happens now?
Well that’s a good question.
First of all, I think I’ll post higher quality QuickTime versions of Season 1. YouTube is a great site, but I must admit I’m not that happy with the quality. I suspect that the YouTube quality is directly affected by what you upload to them. I guess I could re-encode the videos and try again with YouTube, but I figure it’ll just be easer to encode and host my own. So look for that soon.
Secondly, Jason and I do plan on making some enhancements to the trebuchet before we call it a day. When that happens we’ll post an epilogue episode to cap off Season 1.
finally, we also plan on doing a second season of 2 Guys Hurling, but have run into some problems. Our plan was to build a Ballista this summer, and release the first episode probably in September some time. Turns out the Ballista kit is out of stock, and we may not be able to get one until August or later. So I’m not sure when we’ll be able to get Season 2 going, but I’ll keep you posted.

How is the next season?
Hi Ralph,
We’re still waiting for the ballista kit to be in stock. As soon as we can order it, we’ll get Season 2 underway.
Hi Chris & Jason,
What a blast it was to view the journey to 100 feet. So great. Loved the dog cameo… good luck with season 2!
thats awesome! i just found out about you guys today after finding the trebuchet podcast. you guys can just stop at two seasons! you cant let me down. there’s so many thing you could build and i’d watch all of it. keep up the good work guys!
woops. sorry meant to say you guys can’t stop! good luck with next season.
Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for your comments! Jason and I haven’t been doing this for that long and you’re pretty much the first person to contact us since we put up 2guyshurling.com.
We’re anxious to build something else… and the leading candidate right now is a ballista.
Stay in touch, and hopefully we can get season 2 underway soon.

hey guys, awesome stuff here! by any chance do you think you could put the plans up here?
Also, why not make a spud gun?
Hi cory,
Thanks for visiting the site. I’m afraid we can’t post the plans, because we built the treb from a kit purchased at trebuchet.com.
We considered a potato gun at one point so it’s still an option. We’ll see…
